Patty Jackson Bio
Patty Jackson is a singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist performer, teacher, and community song leader. She has the voice of an angel with a unique guitar style creating rich chord progressions and stunning textures by using open tunings and multiple capos. Not to be content to be pigeonholed into one style of music, she blends folk, roots, blues, country, americana and a touch of jazz into her repertoire. Recently, she has added ukulele and baritone guitar into her shows. She can get her audience clapping, tapping and singing along with songs of strength and resilience, weaving a spell bounding musical story about a little forgotten street in her neighborhood or get folks laughing about the silliness that can sometimes be the human condition.
When Patty moved to the Front Range in 2004, she found her musical community by joining Resonance, the Women's Chorus of Boulder. In Resonance, she met Angie Holley and Bylo Farmer and they co-founded the band, "Somethin' About Lulu". Their tag line is "Harmony and Hilarity" and they are a favorite local group. https://www.pattyjacksonmusic.com/
